Sibel is an international dance instructor and community voice from Finland, recognized for her work in improving safety, inclusivity, and gender inequality in the social dance scene.
She dances bachata, salsa, kizomba, and zouk in both roles, and teaches in role rotation format because she deeply believes all dancers benefit from learning both roles. Her teaching centers connection, awareness, and respect. In recent years, her work has contributed to many schools and events adopting clearer safety practices, including codes of conduct, safety representatives, and community roundtables.
